- 2 cup(s) Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 cup(s) Salt
- 1 cup(s) Brown Sugar
- 1 tablespoon(s) Whole Black Peppercorns
- 1 tablespoon(s) Mustard Powder
Directions
1. Bring the vinegar to a boil in a saucepan. In a sealable plastic container, combine salt, brown sugar, peppercorns and mustard powder.
2. Pour the hot vinegar into the container; stir to dissolve. Let stand for 10 minutes; then add 10 ice cubes. Seal container and shake/stir until the ice is melted. Remove the lid, add pork chops to brine. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
3. Cook pork chops as desired. Pan fry or grill for about 15 minutes of medium-high heat, turning once.
