- 7 ounce(s) Whole Weat Elbow Macaroni
- 1 cup(s) Skim Milk
- 1 tablespoon(s) Low-Fat Butter Spread, like Smart Balance
- 2 ounce(s) Velvetta Reduced-Fat Cheese
- 3 cup(s) Reduced-Fat Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 1 teaspoon(s) Salt (or to taste)
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 and coat an 8x8 pan with cooking spray
2. Cook pasta according to directions, drain, then place pasta back in warm cooking pot.
3. Add butter spread, Velvetta, milk and 1/2 cup cheddar cheese and stir until cheese melts. (note: if cheese does not melt, you may need to put the pot back on the burner for a minute or two)
4. Pour pasta mixture into greased pan and bake for 15 minutes.
5. Sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup of cheese on top and bake for another 5-10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and the top is crunchy.
